14 Peaks of Himalayas is a promising project which consists of climbing all 14, 8000m peaks of the Himalayan range by 2023. Uta aims to become the first woman from the Balkans to climb all roofs of the world. She has already climbed 11 peaks. During November 2023 Uta was on her journey to climb the 12th peak – Shisha Pangma, but because of many avalanches and the death of 4 alpinists, at an elevation of 7600m, Uta had to stop her quest to come back alive. and has three more to go to achieve this remarkable mission. Only three more peaks to go! She isn’t going to stop now.

- Country Recognition
There are many reasons for attempting all 14 peaks and each is important in its own right. First, Uta would like to raise awareness of Kosova’s and Albania’s highlands, mountains, and nature, to tourists from all around the world. She wants everyone to enjoy our beautiful mountains and unique peaks while contributing to the tourism of the country.
- Gender Equality Activism
As a female climber, she also wants to raise awareness of the gender issues in our society – Yes, it is possible that a female from Kosova can climb the world’s highest peaks. She wishes this would encourage more girls to dream big and climb the hardest peaks.

Empowering Youth
She wants to bring hope, to inspire people to find ways to conquer their peaks—regardless of what their challenges might be. “I want to share my story, challenges, and ambition with youngsters and even children, and I want to motivate everyone to dream big and work to live the dream” – says Uta.
